LAVISH JACKETS

It's hard not to gush over these three jackets by Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. Despite all the buzz around him leaving the brand, his designs have lived on way beyond the drama. Classic Tom Ford-infused YSL, these neo-vintage (designer fashion from within the last 15 years that has become rare and collectible) pieces are lavish and sleek.

The emerald satin paneled jacket with pagoda shoulders is from Fall 2004 Ready-to-Wear, his last collection there, which Sarah Mower called "polished, mature, and perfectly pitched." Known for incorporating designs from the famous Chinese-inspired 1977 Rive Gauche Fall/Winter “Opium” collection, you can see that inspiration carried into the moody ad-campaign, shot by Craig McDean and featuring Gemma Ward.

If you're in a cooler climate, you can definitely dress these down with boyfriend-jeans and a fitted tank during the day. They're also super easy to dress up for evening occasions with leather pants, a pencil skirt or even better a sexy slip dress. Either way, any collector of early 2000s Tom Ford will want these in their closet. Find them in our Neo-Vintage collection, with other collectibles  - Frank
