| Divine decadence for wannabe James Bonds and Holly Golightlys, there is only one place to shop in Los Angeles: Decades. The piles of Gucci, Pucci and Halston, and shelves chock-full of Hermès crocodile Kelly bags have been collected by owner Cameron Silver, a former cabaret singer, from East Coast auctions and flea markets in Paris and London. Framed Hermès scarves hang on the wall while the 70s soundtrack is intermittently interrupted by a CD of Silver himself singing Kurt Weill. The latest addition to the store is the Georg Jensen in-store boutique, full of the late designer's silver jewellery and housewares. And don't miss the huge dressing room - larger than most New York, London or Hong Kong apartments. -Chris Rubin |
