the chicest clubhouse Cameron Silver, opened Decades, a Hollywood vintage-couture store, to assuage his insatiable need for collecting and wearing other people's clothes. Decades became the epicenter for a groovy Hollywood desperate to scoop next season's Prada or Gucci. Its success has afforded Silver the opportunity to enlarge his shop and buy his dream home, Schindler's 1930 Elliot House. The expanded store was designed by Iris Fingerhut and has a Valley of the Dolls-meets-Warhol Factory feel, with generous swaths of Lucite and lotsa hot color. The best way to check it out is to get invited to one of Silver's monthly pot-luck soirees, which feature a gaggle of celebs and local fashion victims. "Thank God it's making me some money, because every penny is going into the Schindler list," he says. "You can't believe how much it costs to restore these houses."
